President Myanmar Officials Allege Rohingya Conflict Trigger Religion

NAYPYIDAY -President of Myanmar's Thein Sein accusing monk Buddhist monks, politicians, and some politicians, spreading hatred against the citizens of the State of Arakan Rohingya. Thein Sein also blame indigenous Arakan who couldn't accept the citizens of Rohingya people.

"Some political parties, monk, and individuals, spreading hatred against ethnic. Even those closer to the indigenous Arakan. The citizens of Arakan was finally thinking of committing terror against ethnic Bengali citizens who live in this country, "said Thein Sein was quoted as saying, AFP, Monday (27/8/2012).

The President added, indigenous ethnic Sein Arakan not agreed to share the land with residents who were regarded as foreigners. Therefore, Rohingya people never considered citizens of Arakan.

In addition to highlighting the problem of conflict of Arakan, Sein also commented about the situation in Arakan economy damaged by riots. All residents in the Arakan, mental trauma experienced claimed because they witnessed its killing each other.

The statements regarding the issue of Rohingya articulated Sein directly contradicted by the regional political party based in Arakan. They say, that statement can aggravate a clash-clash on the Arakan.

"We don't agree with their views, it can not be published at this time because it can aggravate the situation," said Chairman of the national development party of Arakan Aye Maung.(Exspost News)
